Acrylic Craft Paint Storage
This is the time of year when I try again to organize my craft supplies in a way that will stick. I’m happy to say I have found a way that works perfectly to organize my 2 0z. acrylic craft paints.
If you are a crafter, you know how hard it is to stay organized. Not having a dedicated craft room makes it that much more difficult.
But, I’m thankful to have a large bedroom that I turned into a multi-purpose room with a craft area, sleeping area and space for my desk.
I was inspired by this wall paint storage idea I spotted on Pinterest many years ago. Look at this beautiful and streamlined paint organization:
Last year I purchased two modular mobile chests and a table top from Michaels at the after Christmas sales.
This is a great work table with plenty of drawer storage.
I hung the paint organizer above the craft table for easy access. The good news is I can add more rows as needed and you can’t beat the price. Each 4′ piece was about $3.82 and I bought 3 pieces at Lowe’s.
So, for under $10 I can organize 34 2 oz. craft paints on each row-about 102 on all 3! You can’t beat that.
Here is what I used.
Supplies
It is super simple to set up. I purchased the 4′ strips at Lowe’s and started with 3. You can add as many as you like depending on how much storage you need.
Simply measure and mark where you want the t-strips to hang on the wall and install them into the studs with screws. Be sure to use a level.
The natural edge on the metal strip is perfect for keeping the paint secure.
The cool thing is it is also just the right size to organize essential oils.
Now, everything is in clear view so I can easily find the paint color that I need instead of searching through baskets and bins.
What do you think of this convenient storage idea?
I’m so happy with how it turned out!
