We had an unseasonably warm weekend and it totally inspired me to think about Spring! So I decided to make a diy succulent garden that I can bring out to the deck when Spring arrives. Here is what you need to make your own DIY succulent garden.
It is time for our Monthly Craft Room De-Stash Challenge! This is such a great challenge, because not only do we have a talented group of bloggers participating, but we also get to clear out some of our craft room stash!
- Chicken Wire Shadow Box-found at craft stor
- Several Succulents
- Cactus & Succulent Potting Soil

This took no time at all to make mainly because the chicken wire is already attached to the shadow box. Fill the box with the cactus potting soil, then break up the succulents careful not to damage the roots.
Next add moss to secure the soil and succulents in the box and you have a beautiful succulent garden that will look great indoors or out! I left room so the succulents will hopefully fill in. I will share an updated photo in a couple of months and hopefully it will be alive and thriving!
A big thank you to Megan of C’mon Get Crafty for hosting this fun blog hop. Be sure to check out the other great projects below and if you like succulents as much as I do check out my faux succulent Wreath here
