I wanted some to use outside and wanted to incorporate my red color scheme. I used outdoor acrylic paint in fire engine red. I then taped off a stripe and used a sponge brush for the stripe.

Once that dried I used a sharpie paint pen and simply hand wrote some words that I liked. I sealed with two coats of poly to ensure it was safe for liquids and weather.

I added felt pads to the bottom. These also make a nice teacher’s gift. You can add different sayings or quotes about learning and education.

Just tie up a set of 4 with a pretty bow and a nice card and you are good to go.

These are perfect for an indoor or outdoor space. They also make a great gift idea. You can write whatever words you like, or use a monogram stencil.

What a cool way to have one of kind coasters. My daughters did some for me a few years ago with their handprints and I love them. Love having you as cohost on #HomeMattersParty

Love these! They remind me of my grandmother down on the farm in Mississippi. She made all kinds of things with grain and flour sacks. Super cute. Thanks for co-hosting at the #HomeMattersParty :)
