Learn how to make a useful DIY jewelry stand using an old wood post.
Welcome to Our Crafty Mom! I am excited to share a cool DIY Jewelry Tree Stand that I made for my daughter’s room.
If you’ve visited here recently, I have shared several projects for a mini bedroom update for my daughter, as she is home for the Summer from College.
I shared this fun I love Broadway table as well as a refinished dresser and Hanging makeup organizer. Next-she needed something to hang her necklaces & bracelets on and I had the perfect project in mind!
I have had an old wood post that I picked up at a flea market for $2. Sadly, I didn’t take any before pictures, but it is simple enough to tell you how I did it.
Here is the finished project:
The post was an old rust color. I gave it an update with Americana Chalk Paint in Serene. I added a whitewash to give it some dimension.
I grabbed some scrap wood from my Dad’s house and used wood glue to attach the base. I added knobs at different heights around the post using wood screws to ensure they were secure.
I had several on hand from other projects. I also added two double hooks on each side for even more storage.
I’m thinking of adding ring holders to the base but haven’t figured out what to use yet-any suggestions?

This jewelry tree stand holds a lot of jewelry! I think this will be great to take back to school with her also, as it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
Thank you so much for visiting Our Crafty Mom. I hope you have a great day! I would love it if you would follow me on Social Media!

Crystal, my daughter is back and forth from College to home & really needed something that she could see her necklaces & plus they don't get tangled in a jewelry box. Have a great day!
