I remember how long those Summer vacations are and the kids get bored after a couple of weeks out of school. So let’s get to the fun stuff!

These really are so simple to make and very inexpensive. I made two to give my niece and plan to make some with her the next time I see her. I kept it very simple, as she is just under 3, but if you have kids a little older, you can add more detail and embellishments.
I have to share a picture of my nieces and show you the cool new toy I gave them. I definitely scored brownie points with this toy! I first saw the Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Center on Facebook and knew immediately my niece Maggie would love it. She is 7 months old and loves to stand and jump. But, I was thrilled to see my niece Lori loved it as well! Look how cute they are playing with their new Activity Center:
I had a hard time finding this activity center in stock. Most places had a 6-8 week ship date, so I was thrilled to find it available on Wikibuy. They have just about everything and I will definitely be shopping there again. Now let’s get to the kids painted rocks!
DIY Painted Rocks That The Kids Will Love To Make
Supplies
Acrylic Paint
Wiggle Eyes
Doll Hair
Hot Glue
Start by letting the kids clean and paint the rocks the color of their choice. Let them have fun with it and really make it their own.
The hardest part will be getting them to wait for the paint to dry! Once they are dry, they can decorate them. I used a hot glue, but you can buy glue dots for the little kids to use, plus they sell wiggle eyes that already have adhesive on them.

For the troll hair, I actually picked up a doll from the Dollar Store and used her hair, lol. You can find faux fur at the craft store, but I improvised.
Use felt or cardstock to cut a nose and ears if you like. I used a black marker for the mouth. They really are so cute and you don’t have to make Troll rocks. Let the kids use their imagination and really have a good time with it.
**PIN FOR LATER**
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a table set up at a Summer party for the kids to all paint their own rocks? A great, inexpensive kids party idea. I hope you liked these cute painted rocks and will enjoy this Summer fun blog hop.

Wow.. I LOVE these painted rock ideas, especially the hair (looks so cute). Rock painting is VERY popular in the UK at the moment and being a full time Children’s Entertainer I am always looking interesting things to share with my clients and parents on my Facebook page.
I will definitely be sharing these brilliant ideas, thank you sooooo much.
