Pick up some glass bottles at the Dollar Store, a couple of bags of candy corn and a skull topper and make these cool Halloween candy jars for your favorite trick or treater!
Halloween will be here before you know it so I thought I would work on some Halloween crafts. I love browsing the aisles at the Dollar Store to see if something inspires me. I usually don’t have a project in mind when I go there as that takes the fun out of it!

The Halloween section at the Dollar Store is amazing this year! I seriously look at some of these things and think how can that be a dollar-seriously a dollar people! Look at these cool metallic skulls I found:
Doesn’t the silver one remind you of the Terminator movie? So cool! I immediately grabbed a couple and then spotted the tall glass jars an aisle over. That is when the light bulb moment kicked in!
Dollar Store Halloween Crafts – Skull Candy Jar
The skull had an opening on the bottom so I crossed my fingers that the top of the bottle or the included cork would fit-sure enough it fit perfectly!
I used E-6000 to secure the skull to the wine cork and then thought about what I could fill it with. As my daughter LOVES candy corn and I am visiting her this weekend, I grabbed a few bags of candy corn.

I will say the bags called harvest mix have pumpkins that don’t fit in the bottle, so if you are going to make these, just grab the regular bag of candy corn. I just love how they turned out and you can make two for under $10!
I added a Halloween gift tag using rubber stamps and decorative Halloween paper. Tie a little ribbon around the top and you have an adorable, quick and easy gift idea! If the recipient doesn’t like candy corn, you can add M & M’s instead!
