If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you know I am a big fan of dollar store crafts.

It’s fun to take something cheap and make it look like it came from a boutique or high-end home store.

Do you enjoy crafts and decorating with dollar store or thrift store finds?

When I was thinking about table setting ideas for our Easter table, I realized I didn’t have any spring napkin rings.

So I immediately thought of something quick that I could make.

I’ve used shower curtain rings to make gnome ornaments and knew I had some leftover rings in my craft stash.

A little yarn, bunny ears and hot glue and you’ve got the cutest napkin rings. Here is the quick and easy step-by-step tutorial.

I’ve also included a printable craft card at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

How to Make Easter Napkin Rings

To get started on this fun Easter decor, head to your nearest Dollar Tree store and grab some plastic shower curtain rings, yarn in any color you like and fire up your hot glue gun.

gluing yarn to shower curtain ring

Start by tying a piece of yarn to the shower curtain ring. The thicker yarn, or chunky yarn works better and takes a lot less time.

Just wrap the yarn around the ring until it is completely covered. You do want to make sure none of the plastic is showing.

Once you get to the end of the ring, cut the yarn and add a dab of hot glue to keep it secure.

Now it’s time to make the bunny ears. Originally I planned to use cardboard and felt to make the ears.

But, when I was looking in my craft stash I spotted this Easter lily and immediately saw a bunny ear!

Don’t you love when that happens?

Simply cut two flowers from the stems using scissors or wire cutters.

Hot glue them to the back of your yarn-covered shower curtain ring.

You can see in the below image that I originally glued them to the top, but wasn’t happy with how it looked.

The placement looks much cleaner from the underside. The curtain ring will fit snugly around your rolled-up napkins.

Easy peasy!

This seriously took about 5 minutes to make. I’m all about quick, easy and inexpensive craft tutorials.

Repeat this process for as many napkin rings as you need.

This is something you could even make with the kiddos if you like. Just use fabric glue instead of hot glue.

I hope you enjoyed this easy craft tutorial. Leave a comment below if you make these for your Easter table.
