It uses fresh fruit with mozzarella and mint sprigs for a juicy and tasty summer salad.

While pasta salad is my absolute favorite, when I want something lighter there is nothing better than a fresh fruit salad.
This red white and blue fruit salad does not disappoint! You can switch it up and add your favorite fruits, but I went with blueberries and watermelon.
The addition of mint and fresh mozzarella really adds to the flavor.
Here’s what you need to make this tasty treat.
Ingredients For Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad
- Pearl Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions For Summer Fruit Salad
Slice watermelon in half.
Use a watermelon baller to make balls and place them into a large bowl. Repeat this for the entire watermelon.
Wash the blueberries and add them to the large bowl.
Break up the fresh mozzarella pearls by hand and add them to the large bowl.
Add in diced mint. Mix well.
Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve. It serves 6 people.
This salad is seriously so fresh and juicy. It’s the perfect summer salad to bring to a barbecue, or family get together. You can make it ahead of time to save time.
I can’t wait for blueberry season so we can go to the local farm for blueberry picking. We’ve been going since the kids were little, right along with apple and strawberry picking.
Last year I set a pretty blue and white tablescape with fresh picked blueberries used in dessert – and in champagne! You can freeze them and put them in a wine spritzer-so good.

- 1 small watermelon
- 1 package of blueberries
- 1 package of pearl mozzarella cheese
- 2 sprigs of mint
- Slice watermelon in half.
- Use a watermelon baller to make balls and place into a large bowl. Do this for the entire watermelon.
- Wash the blueberries and add it to the large bowl.
- Break up the mozzarella pearls by hand and add to the large bowl.
- Add in diced mint.
- Mix well.
- Keep in fridge until ready to serve.
