Welcome back to this month’s Farmhouse Hens where I partner with the lovely ladies below to share a themed diy project. This month is all about garden decor.

Sometimes it’s fun to create something quick and easy that will make you smile and this little blue truck filled to the brim with succulents does just that!

Here is the super simple tutorial so you can make your own mini truck planter.

Instructions

Step 1.

Start by cutting a piece of the craft foam to fit snuggly in the back of the mini truck.

Step 2.

truck with moss

Fill the back of the truck with moss to cover the foam.

Step 3.

Trim the succulents to size and secure them into the back of the truck. The succulents are wired, so you can stick the wire into the foam to keep it secure.

Step 4.

Add moss to the the front windows along with smaller succulents. These will need to be hot glued. Continue to add the moss filling in any empty spots.

Step 5.

Place your adorable mini truck succulent planter in a spot where both you and your guests can enjoy it!

Mine is right on my porch next to my herb garden that you can see here. My postal worker already asked where I bought it!

She said she wasn’t crafty and I told her it was literally sticking succulents into foam.

Crafting does not have to be hard. It is a great way to unwind after a tough day too.

Pleasantly surprised by how cute this is. Very durable and already has the small hole in bottom needed to drain extra water from watering. I love this. I just bought a new Beetle in almost the same colour. And I've finally found a perfect window for my succulents, so we're happy.
