Mothers Day Craft Printable Ideas

When I was thinking about what to make for these Mothers Day crafts, I knew I wanted something that I could use for a candle gift basket idea.

My daughter and I just went to Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield, MA and it was amazing!

If you are local to New England, I highly recommend a visit.

They actually have bus tours to the village; that is how large the place is.

Did I mention they have a Ben & Jerry’s and a Build-a-Bear onsite? 🙂

I picked up a few pretty pink and lavender candles to gift to my sisters.

So I decided to create printable templates designed to fit perfectly around a candle.

Simply print the candle label and wrap it around your candle. You can trim it to size if needed.

To secure it, use double-sided tape, a glue stick or mod podge.

Look at how pretty the label looks with a soft pink candle:

Mothers Day Flower Craft

Next up, I used the same design sized as a gift tag. This is just the right size to attach to a flower bouquet or plant.

Secure it to the plant or bouquet with a bamboo skewer and stick it in the flower vase as I show below:

You can never go wrong with flowers for mom on Mother’s Day.

Easy Printable Craft on 8.5″x11″ Cardstock

The easiest way to use this printable is to print it on a single sheet of 8.5″x11″ cardstock.

Just fold the paper in half and you will have a card that is 5.5″ by 8.5″ with plenty of room to write a message on the inside.

I do recommend cardstock in place of copy paper so it will not tear as easily.

How to Decorate with Free Printables

Here are a couple of my favorite ways to decorate your home with printables:

Frame the prints with inexpensive frames from a craft store like Hobby Lobby, Michaels or Joann Fabric and Crafts.
Hang the framed prints on a blank wall in your home for instant wall art.
Change up the prints every few months to keep things fresh.

Download Your Mothers Day Printables

Now, it’s time to download your printables. For the candle label you want to reduce the size to 50 percent and it should fit around a standard candle.

For the gift tag, you can print 4 to a standard size paper.

Simply click the download button beneath each image and print them right at home on standard copy paper.

Though you may want to go with a slightly thicker paper like cardstock, especially if you are using them for a card or gift tag.

If you don’t have a printer, you can print them out at Staples.

I recently purchased a Hewlett Packard All-in-One Printer and I’m very happy with it so far.

Before buying this printer I was printing mine at Staples.

It was about $3 to print out 4-5 designs on cardstock.They make the process super simple.
