It is finally here! The Craft Room Makeover Challenge Reveal and I can’t wait to share my DIY craft room, which also doubles as my office.
Can you tell I’m just a little excited? I was hoping to get this posted on Wednesday, but am a little late.
There are lots of DIY projects in this Pretty In Pink and Gold DIY Craft Room. I will share links if there are blog posts. I hope you find something to inspire you for your home! So let’s get to the reveal:
Pink And Gold DIY Craft Room/Office

I needed to have an area for sleeping when my daughter comes to visit and I didn’t want a large bed, so I went with this navy futon that opens to a full size bed.
Futons have come a long way and this is actually really comfortable. It is made of memory foam. It was purchased from Wal-Mart.

I shared this paper fan feature wall last week. You can read about it here. The DIY Sea Horse Headboard can be seen here.
I’m not sure if it’s staying yet, but for now I’m happy with it. The steamer trunk holds my scrapbooks and photo albums and also serves as a coffee table. You can see the before here.
Next up, I needed storage for my smaller paints and used an old drawer to hold these. My Dad added a couple of pieces of wood for shelves.
The goal is to keep as much visible, but off the table so I have room to create.
Can you tell I like metallic paint? The gold metallic was used on quite a few pieces in this room. It was important to have space for all different activities.
This small table will keep my glue gun ready to go. Here is a link for this awesome glue gun. You can keep it in the charging base, plugged in and ready to go.
Simply turn the power button on and let it warm up. It is so convenient to have it out and ready.
This picture reminds me I need to add an outlet cover-oops! There is an area for crafting with this large drop leaf craft table, as well as a desk area.
Again, I wanted to have designated spaces so I wasn’t working in clutter.
The craft room needed to be functional but also pretty. The tissue paper flowers and hanging pom poms add softness to this corner.
They are from Oriental Trading and you can find them here.
I have been wanting a letter board forever and I absolutely love this white one! It will be fun to change out the sayings. For now, this sentiment is perfect for my new space!
You can find the letter board here.
Rubber stamping is one of my favorite things to do and I used an old cassette holder to store my ink pads.
This small cabinet holds my clear stamps.
Isn’t this a great saying?
My favorite part of the entire craft room is the DIY Epoxy Resin Desk. It was definitely a labor of love. It was placed in front of the large picture window so I can enjoy the gorgeous view.
I wanted to highlight the beautiful view so I hung succulents in the window and also added a large chicken feeder filled with succulents in the window sill.
The best thing is these are faux, so no watering needed! The succulents and hanging globes can be found here.
The Pink Chair
I have to point out this beautiful pink chair. With a bad back I really needed something comfortable with lumbar support. The arm rests also help.
I stumbled upon it at Hobby Lobby of all places and it was a really great price. The fact that it was pink made it a must have for my pink and gold craft room!
Next up is a DIY Chicken Wire Frame used to hold crafting tools. It frees up space on the table and desk and keeps everything in view.
The magnetic boards are helpful for holding small items. I found the tins at the Dollar Store.
This large cabinet is used for my Cricut Explore Air Machine in Gold and Big Shot Cutting Machine . The drawers and shelves keep all the supplies handy. The Cricut is right next to my desk too so I can connect it easily when creating.
Finally I have a large cube storage that has plenty of room. The magazine holders are from the Dollar Store. I still have plenty of room to add more stuff.
What a great feeling to have everything in one space. Hopefully, everything will stay organized. This 5 week challenge really motivated me to get organized.
Be sure to check out the other craft room reveals linked up below.
