It’s no secret that I love crafting and home decorating. In fact, I love it so much that I often start thinking about the next project before I’ve even finished the last one.

So with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I started brainstorming ideas for decorations and gifts early on. And of course, one of the first things that came to mind was experimenting with watercolor printables!

If you’re like me and are looking for a simple (but still elegant) way to dress up your home for Valentine’s Day, then you’ll love these free printables.

Just download them, print them out, and frame them for instant wall decor!

When I first moved into my home, I made a set of 4 pressed fern wall art and hung them in my living room.

When I was decorating my living room for Christmas I decided to change out the wall art for something more festive. So I replaced them with these vintage watercolor Christmas printables.

The beautiful watercolor designs looked so pretty in my living room that I decided to add designs for every season and holiday. It’s such a simple and budget-friendly way to update your home.

Of course, I had to include a little red truck in the design! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you already know I have a slight obsession with all things little red truck! 🙂

How to Print and Frame Free Printables

Start by printing out the pdf files linked up at the end of this post. If you have a printer at home, they are sized perfectly for 8×10″ copy paper.

Although, I do recommend cardstock for printing. Copy paper is really light and you don’t want to see the other prints behind it.

I’m in the market for a new printer, so I’ve been printing mine at Staples. It was under $3 to print out all 4 designs on cardstock. They make the process super simple.

You can read about their same day printing process HERE. If your library allows color prints you can also print them there.

Supplies for Framing Free Printables

It’s really easy to change out printables with dollar store frames. You can use any frames that you like, but I’m all about decorating on a budget.

Although, if I find some thrift store frames for a good price I may scoop those up.

Keep the existing printables in the frame and simply place the new printables on top. Just secure with some painter’s tape and you are done!

This makes it so easy to reuse the printables without having to print out new ones. And you will feel so organized when you have the current season in your frames.

My daughter kept asking me when I was going to take down the Christmas pictures. I replied right after I take down the Christmas tree! 🙂

Now my plan is to turn it into Valentine’s Day tree like my friend Angie from Postcards From The Ridge did!
