Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it and I wanted to share a quick and easy DIY Valentine’s Day wreath with items purchased at the Dollar Tree.
If you’ve visited before, you know I am all about keeping costs down! I had a grapevine wreath on hand, but you can also use the wreath bases sold at The Dollar Tree.
DIY Valentine’s Day Dollar Tree Deco Mesh Wreath
Supplies:
- Two rolls of red deco mesh
- Roll of red/white ribbon
- Pipe cleaners
- Large heart for center
All of the above items can be found at the Dollar Tree. You will also use a glue gun and I added some berry stems that I picked up on clearance after Christmas. These are optional though.
The great thing about deco mesh is it is so easy to work with. You can just twist and bend it however you want. Plus, a little goes a long way! I cut 12″ lengths of the mesh and just accordion folded it using a pipe cleaner to hold it together.
I then attached the deco mesh all around the wreath tying it with the pipe cleaner. I ran the ribbon around and through the mesh until I was happy with how it looked.
I hung the heart so it was centered and added a bow and berries. I will be hanging this on my exterior front door, but it also really pops on the interior white door.
This beautiful wreath can be made for about $7! Most deco mesh wreaths I have seen sell for a minimum of $35, so this is a score!
Here it is on my front door. Another fun Valentine’s Day Wreath is an ornament style wreath I made here:
Have a great day!
