There is something about Easter that I get so excited about. When my kids were younger, it was hands down making and hiding the Easter baskets for them.
As they got older I would make them harder to find and that was a lot of fun. The Easter egg hunt was also a favorite in our family.
We lived on 3 acres so I had to hide the Easter eggs in a certain area, otherwise they would never find them.
I still remember my daughter finding one egg that was about two years old. You know I had to convince her that we had to throw that one out!
One year I planned an adult Easter egg hunt, which was an absolute blast. The oversized eggs held “nips”, as they are called in New England, or mini bottles of alcohol.
This year I made sweet Easter bunny treat bags for my little nieces. If you don’t want to give them candy, you can fill the bags with stickers, crayons and bubbles.
