I received a beautiful Classic Fraser Fir Christmas Tree from Tree Classics and I am absolutely in love with it! Not only is it realistic looking, but it includes a Quick Set™ lighting system, where a single plug is all it takes to light up your tree! No more trying to plug multiple light strands together by yourself and bending under the tree to plug it in each night. You just step on the cord switch to turn it on and off! It’s so convenient. But just look at how pretty it is:
It is so full and has lifelike branches that hang down in a realistic manner. If I did not see this tree come out of a box myself, I would swear it was real!
For the Christmas tree decor I went with a silver and white color scheme. I have been collecting ornaments for many years. My family knows how much I love them so I tend to get several new ones each year. It is fun to take them out year after year and remember who gave them to me. I also buy a new ornament every year for my two children to signify something this past year. My plan is to gift the ornaments to them when they get married-way way down the road, lol!
I used an old washtub as the base of the tree. It not only gives the tree height, but it is also a nice contrast to the elegant white and silver decorations. My favorite angel wings from Decor Steals hang behind the tree.
This was my first year placing a second tree in my master bedroom, which I will share next week. So I made this tree more formal sticking to the color scheme and my upstairs tree will be the family tree with all of my collection. I chose LED Lights and I’m so glad I did. They are so much brighter!
I think the key to making a tree unique and nice and full is to add lots of picks. For example, I used several large pine picks that were flocked and had Pinecones on them. This fills in any space and also gives it dimension. I also used bunched of batting to fill in any space and give the appearance of fallen snow.
The Winter theme with snow, silver and white blends great with the mantel.

I hope you enjoyed my silver and white Christmas Tree!
