Supplies Needed for Old Window Wall Decor
Get the supplies for this project in my Amazon Shop HERE.
- Old Window – look at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets
- Burnishing tool or squeegee
- Dixie Belle Spring Flowers Decoupage Rice Paper
Step 1.
Decide where you want your rice decoupage paper to go.
I decided to put it along the bottom of the old window, so there was still room to hang a wood bead wreath.
Step 2.
Cut the border off of your decoupage paper.
Step 3.
Apply Clear Coat on the area where you want to place the decoupage paper.
You can use a foam brush for this.
Be generous with the clear coat, but don’t over due it.
Step 4.
Place the decoupage paper on top of the Clear Coat.
Step 5.
Carefully smooth out the wrinkles using your fingers, or a burnishing tool or squeegee.
Step 6.
Apply another layer of Clear Coat on top of the Premium Rice Decoupage paper.
Once paper is activated with Clear Coat you can move it around gently but take care not to wrinkle or tear the paper.
Allow the Clear Coat to dry completely before adding any other products.

Very cool project, I love everything about it. I have seen them with landscape images on, so it looks like a real view. Great project.
