Crown Royal Blackberry Sangria
My daughter and I are both huge fans of all things blackberry, so when we heard they were coming out with a Crown Royal Blackberry Whisky, we were on a mission to find it.
It took a couple of trips, but we finally found it and the hype was worth it! It is seriously that good.

The good news is this sangria is being shared as part of #BrunchWeek with several of my blogging friends.

How to Make Crown Royal Blackberry Sangria
This classic sangria recipe comes together quickly. The star of the show is definitely the Crown Royal Blackberry Whisky, which adds a rich and flavorful blend to the red wine. The muddled blackberries are the perfect accompaniment.
Step 1. Pour Wine into Pitcher
Pour one 750 ml bottle of wine into a glass pitcher. Add Triple Sec.

Step 2. Add Blackberry Crown Royal
Next, pour 1/2 cup of blackberry whisky to the wine mixture. Stir to blend well. This blackberry whisky is so rich and tasty.

Step 2. Add Blackberries
Slice the blackberries in half and add them to the wine mixture. Muddle them with the back of a spoon, or a cocktail muddler.

Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for 2 hours to allow the blackberries to release their flavors.
Step 3. Add Remaining Fruit
Add sliced lemons, limes and oranges to the wine mixture. Pour in lemon juice.

Let everything muddle together in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Step 4. Pour in Blackberry Seltzer
Just before serving, top with a 12 oz can of blackberry seltzer. You can add a second can if you feel it is too strong. We only used one can.
Pour the sangria into a large wine glass and enjoy. Add mint if desired. Serves 4.

That’s all there is to it! A rich and flavorful sangria recipe perfect for a party, or Saturday night get together.

Guess I'd better get over to the liquor store and pick up a few bottles of this! We're up to 7 blackberry bushes and last year was a huge crop so this year should be even better.
