Ingredients Needed for Blackberry Smash

You will need the following ingredients listed below to make this summer cocktail (the exact measurements, nutrition information and full recipe are all in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post).

  • Crown Royal Blackberry
  • Blackberry Seltzer
  • Lemon Juice
  • Blackberries
  • Sugar
  • Mint (I left this out, as I am not a fan)

How to Make a Crown Royal Blackberry Smash

This summer cocktail comes together in just a few simple steps.

Muddle Blackberries:

In your whisky glass, muddle the blackberries, lemon and mint leaves, if you are using them, to release their flavors.

Fill the glass with ice.

Combine in Cocktail Shaker:

Combine the blackberry whisky and sugar together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain into Glass

Strain your drink into the prepared glass. Add a splash of blackberry sparkling water.

Garnish with Blackberries

Top with a few blackberries and mint if desired. I chose to leave the fresh mint out, as I prefer this drink without it.

Crown Royal Blackberry Smash

Yield: 1 Cocktail
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Crown Royal Blackberry Whisky
  • Blackberry Seltzer - top off drink
  • 1 ounce Lemon Juice
  • 3-4 Fresh Blackberries
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • *Optional Mint - 3 leaves

Instructions

    • In your whisky glass, muddle the blackberries, lemon and mint leaves, if you are using them, to release their flavors.
    • Fill the glass with ice.
    • Combine the blackberry whisky and sugar together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
    • Strain your drink into the prepared glass.
    • Add a splash of blackberry sparkling water.
    • Top with a few blackberries and mint if desired. I chose to leave the fresh mint out, as I prefer this drink without it.
