How To Make Pretty DIY Farmhouse Tabletop Trees

Sharing is caring!

Make these simple DIY farmhouse tabletop trees for a budget-friendly addition to your holiday home decor.

These DIY farmhouse tabletop trees are so easy to make, and no one will ever know they are made from inexpensive foam board.

Who else feel like the second the calendar turns to November 1st, the game is ON!

Especially after the crazy year we’ve had, I’m so ready for all things happy and festive.

I definitely get my love of Christmas decorating from my mom.

Probably one of my most favorite childhood memories of her, was decorating the tree with boxes and boxes of tinsel.

By the time we were done, you couldn’t see the tree. I’m secretly excited that tinsel is making a comeback!

In fact, get ready to see a bead and tinsel garland on my Christmas tree this year!

If you are a regular visitor here, you know I love farmhouse style, including all things buffalo check and little red trucks.

Last year I had fun decorating my front porch with a little red truck theme and set a pretty little red truck Christmas tablescape.

If you like buffalo check too, you may want to see these adorable buffalo check mason jar lid ornaments I made last year, and some of my favorite buffalo check Christmas gift ideas.

For today’s project, I wanted to make some farmhouse tabletop trees to include in my covered front porch holiday decor.

Supplies

I spotted this buffalo check wrapping paper at Dollar Tree and quickly scooped it up, along with some bamboo skewars.

I also picked up this adorable 12×12 decorative paper at the craft store.

Step 1.

Use the multi-tool to place a hole in the center of the wood slice.

Step 2.

Add wood beads to the bamboo skewar and secure into the wood slice with hot glue.

Step 3.

Cut the decorative paper into a 6″x12″ triangular piece to look like a tree.

Step 4.

Use the cut paper as a template and cut two pieces of the foam board to the same size.
