It’s Day 12 and we are ready to Hang the Stockings by the Chimney with Care!
What a fun series this has been.
I hope you have enjoyed it and found tons of inspiration for years to come.
I know I have! My Pinterest boards are filled with all kinds of Christmas goodies!
Today we are all sharing stocking ideas, which can be stocking stuffers, DIY stockings, or in my case, stocking tags.
Let me show you how quick and easy these are to make.
DIY Wood Bead Christmas Stocking Tag
Supplies
First, start by stringing 8 beads onto a piece of twine. Tie a large knot on each end.
Make up a separate twine tassel to add to one end.
The wood slices that I picked up at the craft store didn’t have a nail hole, so I added one.
These are thick, so I would recommend buying the ones with a hole.
The link I shared is for pre-drilled tags. Trust me, it makes it easier.
Next, you can personalize the wood slice either with a letter, or their name.
Of course, I used my favorite Chalk Couture to add a large monogram letter.
You can check out Chalk Couture here.
Another way to personalize them would be with a Sharpie Paint Pen.
Finally, add twine to tie the tag to the wood bead string.
Just use a safety pin to attach it to the stocking. I’m in love with the knit stocking that I found at Target.
The stocking looks right at home hanging on a vintage ladder in my kitchen.
Isn’t the little tag just adorable? I definitely want to make one for myself to use as a key chain.
These would make great gifts too.
A big thank you to Shirley from Intelligent Domestications for organizing this blog hop.
It is seriously a huge undertaking to coordinate 40+ bloggers over 12 days.
She is seriously a rockstar! Of course, the fabulous bloggers who participated over the 12 days are awesome as well.
The month of December is a whirlwind!
Thank you to all of you for visiting us and commenting on our blogs.
We appreciate it and wish you a very Merry Christmas!
