Outdoor Christmas Porch
Let’s start with the outdoor entry which received an update last week.
Kitchen And Dining
I really enjoy decorating for all holidays, but especially for Christmas. Letterboards are so fun and you can come up with really creative sayings to reflect the Holidays.
This year I really scaled back on my Christmas decor and I’m really enjoying it. As the rooms are not that large, I don’t like it to feel cluttered.
A few touches are all you really need to make a home feel festive.
A tutorial for the Home Mason Jars can be seen here. The focal point in the kitchen and open dining area is the large farmhouse style butcher block table that I refinished here.
The sugar pine cones are a simple, but festive addition to the back of the chairs.
You will see bottle brush trees throughout the tour. I just love them and they come in so many cool colors now!
If you prefer all white, you can actually bleach them. I share a simple tutorial on how to bleach, dye and decorate with bottle brush trees here.
The ladder in the dining area is fun to decorate. A garland of winter stems and cotton stems, along with knit stockings is all that’s needed.
I’ve had this large chalkboard forever and added a large wreath from Trader Joe’s to it along with a few chalk trees. It’s definitely a statement piece in the room.
You can see a tutorial for the fun Christmas Countdown calendar here.
The chandelier may be my favorite thing in the dining area. The garland is so pretty and I love the clear blue glass ornaments. Simple touches really make it festive!

Christmas Living Room
I added a few Christmas pillows and a couple of super comfy throws to the living room sofa and chair.
I hung an elegant Christmas wreath that you can see here.
The angel wings were purchased from Decor Steals several years ago and found a new home above the couch. I’m not sure if they will stay there, but I love them there for Christmas.
The Christmas Tree
This was the first year I decorated my tree with a blush and metallic decor and I just love it! It’s fun and perfect for my daughter and I.
There are vintage pink glass ornaments in a dough bowl under the tree and DIY copper leaf ornaments on the tree.
Well, that is it for my Christmas home tour. I hope you enjoyed it. Next on the home tour is Lincluden Cottage. You will love her beautiful home!

Thank you for the ideas! Although the Christmas is gone I still want to decorate the house with something new and beautiful. It's still winter, right? I love the idea with those mason jars. Very pretty

Beautiful home ready for Christmas. I like the porch decor with mugs at the ready to be filled with hot cocoa. Thank you for sharing at You're the Star. Merry Christmas, Kippi
