While shopping at my local Goodwill, I spotted a bag of beautiful lace and other fabric that was 50% off, making it just $2.50! I knew I could put that lace to good use, so I decided to turn it into a pretty DIY lace pumpkin wreath.

Quick Overview

  • Pick up a pumpkin wreath form at Dollar Tree and look for pretty lace at your local thrift store or craft store.
  • Arrange the lace into layers and attach them to the wreath form until the pumpkin is covered.
  • Add a stick to the top of the pumpkin to create a stem.
  • Hang your DIY lace pumpkin wreath on a covered porch or display it indoors for a touch of vintage-inspired fall decor!

Here is what you need to make your own lace pumpkin wreath.

Supplies Needed:

  • Dollar Tree Wire Pumpkin Wreath Form
  • White Felt – or other white fabric
  • Assorted Lace
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Stick – to create pumpkin stem

How to Make a Lace Pumpkin Wreath

Step 1. Cover Wreath Form

Start by covering the wire wreath form with white felt. You can use any white fabric that you have available. This was what I had in my stash.

Step 2. Add Ruffled Lace

I hot glued ivory ruffled lace over the felt to add a little dimension underneath the white lace while also covering up the felt.

Step 3. Attach White Lace

Hot glue the white lace in layers across the entire pumpkin form, pinching and gluing along each layer.

Step 4. Secure Pumpkin Stem

Hot glue a wood stick to the top of the wreath to create a pumpkin stem. I also added a bit of moss and twisted wire.

Step 5. Hang and Enjoy!

I hung the pumpkin wreath in my guest bathroom and love how it looks. It goes with the cottagecore style and adds a festive fall touch in a neutral tone.
