I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this poisoned apple martini with you today.

There are 10 bloggers participating in this Halloween Cocktail Challenge and I’m blown away by the creativity of each and every one of them.

We were all so psyched for this week’s challenge and you can see that we are all Halloween lovers.

It definitely comes across in these drinks and photos.

I have to give a big thank you to Michelle from Weekend Craft for organizing this challenge over the past 6 weeks.

But don’t worry, we will be back in November with 6 weeks of Holiday cocktails-yippee!

How To Make A Poisoned Apple Martini

My daughter and I try to go to Salem, MA every year in October if we can.

If you are not familiar with Salem, it is pretty much a Town dedicated to Halloween all year long.

But, it is really amazing in October.

People dress up, they have parades, it is loaded with psychics and museums. You can read all about it here.

I loved the television show Bewitched when I was younger, so we had to get a photo in front of this cool statue:

We went to a really great restaurant that had all kinds of spooky Halloween cocktails.

My daughter ordered a poisoned apple martini and I immediately knew I wanted to replicate it for this challenge.

It was served in a fun beaker, which totally made it! I was on a mission to find beakers. It wasn’t hard, thanks to Michael’s.

Not only did they have different sizes, but they were on sale-score!

Next up, I went to pick up the ingredients at the liquor store and was surprised to see that Captain Morgan just came out with an apple rum that was perfect for this cocktail!

Look at the cool shade of green it is:

I picked up the kissed caramel vodka that was used in the restaurant martini.

I like to make cocktails that don’t require too many ingredients. I guess I’m a lazy bartender!

Apple Martini

Apple Martini Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

  • 2-12 ounce Cans of Sprite
  • 1/2 cup Apple Rum
  • 1 1/4 cup Kissed Caramel Vodka
chilled caramel vodka

Instructions For Apple Martini

Simply add sprite, apple rum, and caramel vodka to the large cocktail beaker and mix well.

Make sure the alcohol is well chilled prior to mixing.

Also, have extra soda on hand, in case it is too strong. It definitely packs a punch!

The apple flavor is amazing and all I could think of was the apple jolly ranchers. Now I need to pick some up.

These martinis are so fun, especially in the bright green colour. You will think twice before a sip, but the word martini will just be too tempting not to try. Great idea.

Stopping by from Best of the Weekend - I featured your post, be sure to look for it tomorrow after 8 pm. :-)
