Outdoor Christmas Front Entry Ideas

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. Today I am sharing my Outdoor Christmas Front Entry Ideas.

As I live in a Townhouse I don’t have a porch but I always make do with what I do have.

Of course just about everything here is a DIY or craft project as I am always decorating on a budget!

For the front door I hung a DIY Deco Mesh Wreath. I first used deco mesh two years ago and I have to say it is so easy to work with.

There is really no way to mess it up. If you haven’t tried deco mesh yet, the next time you are at the Dollar Store pick some up and give it a try.

That way if you don’t like it you are not spending too much money. I just shared a Christmas and Winter Deco Mesh wreath yesterday with a tutorial and used the same process for this wreath.

You can see it here.

I added battery-operated lights that are on a timer so they are on when I get home and go off 6 hours later-it’s so convenient!

Luckily I was able to take photos before our big snowstorm. It is the first of many I’m sure!

One of the things I love to have by my front door is a tall freestanding DIY Sign. This year I went with Peace as it is something we all could use right?

The Peace sign is double-sided so when Christmas is over I flip it and have “Let It Snow” on the back. It saves time, money, and storage!

The below photo showing “Let It Snow”  is from a couple of years ago so please excuse the photo quality:

I had the old sled and skates in front of my mantel shown below but decided to move it outside. I’ll show you what I replaced it with next week!

I’ve talked about “shopping your house” before. I’m always changing things up from room to room.

It’s a good way not to get bored and it is amazing how different things can look from one room to the next.

The lightweight, low-profile BrightPad makes crafting easier while reducing eye strain.

Yup those are fake presents you see! I use the waterproof tablecloths they sell at the Dollar Store and let me tell you, they hold up great.

I literally leave them out until Christmas Day through the harsh New England winter and they last! You can see how I made the snowballs here.

The thrift store reindeer was placed in front of a wreath in a galvanized bucket. The same ribbon that was used on the presents was placed on the reindeer to tie it all in.

Everything looks beautiful. I used several of the battery operated lights with timers this year too, they are the best!

Hi Michelle. I love your snowball basket. I wanted to create one but haven't gotten it done yet. I probably won't because my decor is all done and you have to stop sometime... right??? lol
