Tiered Tray Decor For St. Patrick’s Day is a fun way to bring a little festive cheer into your home.
I love the saying that everyone is Irish at St. Patrick’s Day!
Of course, that may be after a few Irish lemonades!
I’m sharing this St. Patrick’s Day tiered tray as part of the monthly Dollar Store Divas challenge.

How To Decorate A Tiered Tray
1. Start with a blank slate.
One of the first things I do is remove all the existing items from the tiered tray to start with a blank slate.
I usually add seasonal scarves, or decorative paper to the bottom of the tray.
This time I used St. Patrick’s Day scarves.

2. Gather your pieces
Choose a variety of pieces that correspond with the style, or holiday you are decorating for.
You want to choose pieces in varying heights and size, as well as coordinating colors.
3. Start with a focal piece.
Begin with the top tier and decide on a focal piece.
I wanted the adorable little gnome from Dollar Tree to be the focal piece, so I put that front and center.
On the bottom shelf, the little truck was the focal piece.
4. Choose accent pieces.
Add coordinating accent pieces around the focal point.
I start adding items until I’m happy with the placement.
I tend to follow the rules of threes and it worked perfectly on this tray.
Add finishing touches
To add symmetry, the mason jar with babies breath gives some height.
I also added a few drops of green food coloring to the water in the mason jar, for an extra pop of color.
Also, every vignette needs a little greenery, even if it’s faux, like the succulent.
The most important thing, is to just have fun with it.
It kind of reminds me of decorating a doll house when we were kids.
It’s no surprise, that was one of my favorite things to do!
