Last year I decorated with these adorable little red truck watercolor printables, as I’m a big fan of all things little red truck.

I framed them with Dollar Tree frames and hung them in my living room. It’s a budget-friendly way to update your home for each holiday or season.

Vintage Valentines Printables

When deciding how I wanted to decorate for Valentine’s Day this season, I knew I wanted to go with a vintage theme.

I’m drawn to the beautiful colors that are typically found in this style of decor. Think muted pinks, blues, greens and soft reds.

Just look at these beauties:

My decorating has definitely changed since moving to this more modern style home. You can see how this is reflected in my mid-century modern living room.

The colors in these printables blend perfectly with the muted colors in my vintage area rug. That is why I love to create printables.

There are so many options and you can design images that compliment the colors in your home.

If you are interested in a training on how to create your own printables, please let me know. I would be happy to share some beginner-friendly tips.

My first craft using these printables was to create a banner to hang on my fireplace mantel. I’m so happy with how this turned out and it was unbelievably easy.

Simply print the images 4 to a page and cut them out. Use a hole puncher and pretty ribbon to hang them. Easy peasy.

For more depth and dimension, consider layering garland with different textures as shown below:

The pom pom garland and wood bead garland were clearance finds at Michaels after Christmas sales.

Another option is to make your own yarn-wrapped cardboard heart garland that I shared last Valentine’s Day.

How to print at home

These Valentine printables can be saved directly to your computer by right-clicking on the image and selecting “save”.

There is also a download button below each image to make it super easy.

They are set to print as a full page on standard 8×10, but you can easily resize the image if you like. They would make beautiful note cards, or thank you cards.

This design would also be perfect for  decoupage or busted canvas crafts.

Helpful supplies for printable projects

I receive a lot of questions about the most affordable way to print at home. Ink can be expensive. I’ve been very happy with the HP Office Jet Pro All-in-One Printer.

It is currently on a limited deal for under $160. You can subscribe to Instant Ink delivery to get ink delivered directly to your door before you run out.

This has been a big help as I sometimes forget to order ink-oops!

Where to print when you don’t have a printer

  • Public Libraries
  • Print and Copy Stores – Staples is our go-to!
  • Shipping or Courier Centers
  • Office Supply Stores – for an extra cost you can even have it laminated!
