Set a pretty patriotic tablescape with classic red, white & blue home decorating ideas.
Hello and welcome to Our Crafty Mom! It’s officially summer and that means barbecues, picnics and Fourth of July!
I have so many great memories of bringing the kids to see fireworks when they were little at the ball field in our small town.
When they were a little older, we would go to my sister’s house and watch the fireworks in Newport, RI. It was always such a great time.
Now that they are grown, and also with people staying home, Fourth of July will look a little different this year.
But, that doesn’t mean we still can’t celebrate the red, white and blue! Make yourself a festive red, white and berry cocktail-leave out the alcohol if you’d prefer a mocktail.
Fire up the grill with mouthwatering foil wrap steak and potatoes.

Like many of you, I have been challenging myself to decorate with items I already have in my home, or that are inexpensive.
What is more patriotic than decorating in classic colors of red, white and blue? I have an old window that overlooks the kitchen table.
I simply draped a scarf that I found at the dollar store over the window. It’s the perfect touch for this festive table.
An easy centerpiece idea is to use a tiered tray. There is nothing like a slice of watermelon at a picnic, or on a hot summer day.
A small platter fit perfectly on the bottom tray, a long with a hobnail milk glass and daisies.
The top holds a red mason jar with fairy lights, and American flags. The table setting is a simple white charger, navy dinner plate and red salad plate.
Nothing is more Americana than mason jars! I found the adorable mason jar lidded glasses on clearance at a home store.
The red and white gingham lids remind me of a picnic! I had to include a box of sparklers at each setting, as a nod to fond memories of prior celebrations.
Pretty navy place mats from my stash complete the pretty table. I hope you enjoyed these patriotic tablescape ideas.

Michelle, those mason jars with the red and white gingham lids are too cute! I may have to try the red, white and berry mocktail! I love the tiered tray with the watermelon. It's quite different from most tiered trays that are round and aluminum. Everything looks so inviting. You created a cozy and festive patriotic table! It was fun hopping with you :)
