In my previous post I showed this Hutch decorated for Halloween. I have updated it for Thanksgiving. I love the graphicsfairy.com because you can find the most beautiful images for your decorating. I used this adorable Pilgrim boy image for the top of the hutch inserted in a simple frame. I found the awesome rooster […]
I fell in love with the beautiful deer silhouette that www.TheRusticPig.com was kind enough to share with us. I followed her tutorial using an old dresser mirror. I did have to prime the mirror first and used 4 coats of chalkboard paint. I also used Annie Sloan paint on both the wood frame and deer.

I scored this awesome rug on clearance at Kohl’s. It really anchors the rocking chairs. I added my DIY pillows from another post and some burlap on the little side table warm it up. I sat out here tonight reading and it was very peaceful. The DIY drop cloth curtains give privacy and warmth.
Like so many of you, I love fall decorating and my favorite place to decorate is my farmer’s porch. I spend a lot of time here at least until it gets too cold. I saw these adorable pumpkin topiary’s all over blog land and was psyched when Michael’s had the pumpkins 50% off. I used […]

I decided to make some burlap placemats with the leftover curtain material. I used stazon-on ink to stamp the cute little Easter bunny and to get longer use, I stamped flowers on the other side!
