Isn’t her Christmas hallway just lovely?
There are 30 bloggers all sharing Christmas decorations every day this week.
There are ideas for just about every room in your house including the living room, bedroom, entryway, and more!
A huge thank you to Leen from Sand Dollar Lane for hosting this event.
You will find all of the links for the home tours at the bottom of this post, so be sure to read to the end.
I’ve seen a sneak peek and you do not want to miss out on all the holiday goodness.
Christmas Mantel Decor Art Work
One of the first things I do when planning a holiday mantel is to look for an inspirational piece or focal point.
Of course, that piece is the lovely All Hearts Come Home canvas from Tailored Canvases.
If you follow me on Pinterest you already know how much I love all things little red trucks or vintage car decorations.
So when I spotted this oversized Christmas wall art canvas I totally fell in love!
The soft color palette has a vintage feel that I knew would be the perfect statement piece for my living room decor.
If you are also a fan of these colors be sure to check out my Christmas front porch decor.
Can you believe the ornate wood mantel has moved with us to 3 different homes?
That is no easy feat as it is large at 62″.
But it was worth all the effort as it really creates that cozy factor we love.
Plus it throws off a good amount of heat.
The canvas is sized perfectly for the mantel at 30″x60″ and covers our television.
It also does a great job of drawing the eye up and making the space appear larger than it actually is.
I’m in the works with my Dad to make a sliding barn door-style fixture so we can slide the canvas to watch television.
We just slide it to the side when we watch television at night.
It is placed against the wall so it’s simple to remove.
We followed this same process with our Halloween mantel and canvas HERE.
Mantel Decorations
For the mantel decorations, I went with vintage style with pops of pink that blend with the soft pinks in the canvas.
The Victorian Santa snow globe is a DIY that I will share later this week along with my full Christmas Tree reveal!
You can see it peeking out on the left and I’m seriously in love. 🙂
My plan was to go with a red and green color scheme this year, but once I spotted the wall art, all bets were off!
One of the best tips I have for holiday decorations is to “shop your home” and also your yard!
I gathered pine cones and spray painted a few gold for an extra bit of elegance.
You can also cut fresh greenery and stems from your yard and add them to an artificial pine garland.
It looks great and will bring in the fresh pine scent of a real Christmas Tree.
That is the one thing I miss about having an artificial tree.
Another way to give an inexpensive garland more dimension and texture is to blend more than one.
I used a faux eucalyptus garland that I had in my stash.
While not specifically Christmas, it works!
A few cotton buds add a pop of white to brighten up the garland.
A wood lantern holds vintage glass ornaments in pink and white.
The pretty pink and gold ribbon is from Michaels but I’ve also seen a similar style at Joann Fabric and Crafts.
I’m sure Hobby Lobby has one as well.
Decorating the Hearth
Don’t forget to decorate the hearth.
If you own a Christmas village the hearth is a great place to display it.
The one thing I am missing is our Christmas stockings.
They are still in storage so I do plan to pick those up.
I love how stockings look hung on a mantel.
We have knitted stockings with wood bead stocking tags you can see HERE.
My son bought the vintage milk can for my birthday and I LOVE all the rusty goodness and patina.
A few faux pine stems give a little bit of height.
A wood bead garland and icicles fill in the front of the mantel. The icicles really glow at night!
The farmhouse-style basket is the perfect spot to hold extra pillows and throws.
That’s it for my Christmas mantel decor.
I hope you enjoyed these easy ideas and are inspired to consider adding a touch of pink to your holiday decor!
Next up on the Celebrate Christmas home tour is my friend Patti from Hearth and Vine.
She is sharing her Christmas Village Mantel and it’s just lovely. Enjoy!

Wow I can't believe you have moved your mantel from 3 houses! It's a gorgeous mantel, I can see why you did. The canvas above the mantel is stunning. I love big statement pieces like that, they make such an impact!
