Elegant Flocked Christmas Tree

If you follow me on instagram you may have seen the amazing flocked Christmas tree I received from King of Christmas: 

My living room is not very large and this 6′ Prince Flock Tree fits perfectly in this space.

The tree is so pretty even without decorations!

I’ve been talking about getting a flocked Christmas tree for a few years now, so I was thrilled to partner with King of Christmas this year.

Not only is the tree covered with warm LED lights, but it literally took me only about ten minutes to set up.

Each year I decorate my tree in a different theme.

To keep costs down, I tend to choose colors that coordinate easily with other colors, like silver and gold.

By just changing out the ribbon and main ornament color, you can completely change the look of a tree.

Blue and Silver Decorations

This year I decided to go with shades of navy blue and aqua, as I knew these colors would pop against the flocked tree and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks!

I picked up navy blue velvet ribbon, aqua deco mesh ribbon and simple shades of blue, white and silver ornaments for the tree. 

Next, I added silver stems that I’ve used in previous years, along with handpainted chinoiserie ornaments:

Christmas Tree Topper

For the tree topper, I used stems in silver and white, along with some sparkly navy blue stems I picked up at the craft store.

It give the tree added height and dimension.

Christmas Tree Collar

One thing I purchased this year, was a seagrass tree collar from Michaels.

It has a farmhouse feel that looks great with the flocked tree.

Large velvet navy poinsettias finish off the tree.

I definitely scaled back on the decorations this year, as I wanted the focus to be on the gorgeous tree itself.
