Host the perfect Summer Fiesta Graduation Party with these inexpensive ideas.
When we were planning my daughter’s, College Graduation Party, the first thing she asked was if she could have Chipotle cater!
She has a slight obsession with Chipotle and would eat their burrito bowls every day if she could.
Once that was decided, a Summer Fiesta Graduation Party took off and let me tell you, it was so fun!
Let’s get to the details and be sure to enter the Oriental Trading Giveaway where lots of these Fiesta decorations were purchased.

Host The Perfect Summer Graduation Party
Decorations
When deciding on decorations, I immediately checked out Oriental Trading and sure enough they had pages of fiesta decorations.
I have been ordering from them for many years.
In fact, the photo booth that was so popular at Amanda’s High School Graduation Party was also ordered from there.
Check out the cool fiesta themed decorations:
These adorable mini donkey pinatas were scattered around the tables and were too cute.
We had a 21+ margarita station with a Blue Curacao Margarita and a Prickly Pear Margarita-yum!
Did you see the Avocado Topiary I shared here?
It was placed on the drink table and after the party I just removed the iron on and have a nice planter. Nothing goes to waste!
I love to use chalkboards and have several DIY ones that I made using old mirrors.
Both my daughter and I love puns, so we came up with some funny puns to go along with the fiesta theme.
Add a few DIY Tissue Paper Flowers for some color.
The most popular idea was definitely the photo booth.
Everyone, even my 75 yo Dad, got in on the fun with the photo booth props and Fiesta Couple Banner from Oriental Trading.
Check out some of these funny pictures:
I am definitely a dork and had everyone say Queso instead of cheese, lol!
The Graduation girl with her friend from Middle School:
My Dad and my cousin enjoying a laugh:
Her College friend Karter who drove all the way from New Hampshire. Love these pictures:
You may have seen the Wine Cork Succulent Magnets I made as party favors.
I kept the centerpieces simple with mason jars and leftover Graduation Invitations glued on a skewer.
Graduation Party Food
It was so nice not to have to worry about cooking for the party.
It allowed me to really be present and enjoy the moment.
Chipotle made it so easy including all the pans right down to the sterno, matches and even serving utensils.
Everyone enjoyed it and there were even leftover containers for people to take home!
The Graduation Cake
We stuck with the bright beautiful colors used in the decorations for the cake and it was just gorgeous.
If you are local to Rhode Island, the cake is from Borrelli’s Pastry Shop.
Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious.
I have to point out the letter board which was another great find from Oriental Trading.
The Graduation Girl
As a Mom, I have to tell you how incredibly proud I am of my daughter.
She graduated with two Degrees in four years and overcame incredible obstacles.
And two weeks after graduating she received a job offer in her field of psychology, so it has been a whirlwind.
Congratulations Amanda!
