Check out this oh so simple tutorial for alcohol ink ornaments. Think about giving these as Christmas gifts this year.
They are perfect for teachers, co-workers, and neighbors.
Supplies Needed For Alcohol Ink Ornaments
- Clear Glass Ornaments you can find these at the dollar store or craft store.
- Tim Holz Alcohol Ink – Mariner
- Ribbon for hanging
These literally can be made in under 15 minutes, minus drying time. You could also make these with the kiddos with supervision-be sure to wear plastic gloves.
Step 1.
Add 2-3 drops of alcohol ink to each ornament, swirling it around until it is just about dry. Be sure not to add too much.
Step 2.
Repeat the same step with two additional complimentary colors.
Step 3.
Place the ornaments upside down in an empty egg carton or plastic cup to dry overnight.
Step 4.
Add a ribbon for hanging and you are done!
See how easy that was? You can whip up a dozen of these babies in no time. To make them even more personal, you could add a vinyl monogram using a Cricut cutting machine. They are running a great holiday sale now through 12/31/19 for 40% off!
The shades of blue that I used look absolutely stunning on my blue and white Christmas tree that you can see here.
