January and February can be a tricky time of year for indoor decorating. It’s hard to outdo the warm festivite feeling of Christmas home decor, but too early for spring color.
Once you take down the Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree is put away, the house may seem a little bare.

I’ve talked many times about my love of wreath-making. A wreath on the front door is perfect for any time of year.
The first thing I do for any new season or holiday is change out the wreath on the front door.
It’s the easiest way to add a seasonal touch to your home and a great opportunity to welcome friends and family.
You can even update a faux pine Christmas wreath or evergreen branches with winter elements like snowballs, snowmen, or winter florals.
Add a coordinating bow to go with your color scheme.
