Exciting News
We have some exciting news on the home front; my daughter Amanda is expecting her first baby in August! To say I’m excited is an understatement.

If you’ve been following Our Crafty Mom for any length of time, you know I started this blog in 2013 when my kids were teenagers.
They were home less often with all of their activities, and I suddenly had a little extra time to craft, which has always been a passion of mine.
Over the years, I’ve shared so many milestones here on the blog, from school dances and graduations to first apartments, and now…a first baby!
While going back over some of the milestones and projects shared, I found this gem, a baby shadow box with mementos from both of my children. Talk about a full circle moment. 🙂

This is definitely a new chapter, and it made me realize that many of you may also be at this stage of life, or maybe you’re a soon-to-be mom yourself.
So we thought it would be helpful to share some of the things that come with preparing for a new baby, starting with nursery bedding ideas while we plan the nursery decor.
Nursery Bedding
Choosing nursery bedding is one of the sweetest parts of getting baby’s room ready. It’s often the piece that sets the tone for the whole space, whether you’re going for soft neutrals, classic patterns, or a fun storybook theme.
My daughter and I had fun browsing Wayfair. They have so many adorable options, from cozy neutral bedding sets to charming designs featuring favorites like Winnie the Pooh and other storybook-inspired prints.
Take a look through these baby room ideas ideas to find the perfect bedding set for a nursery that feels warm, inviting, and just a little magical.
