I'm just going to stick with my tree skirt. It doesn't take up nearly as much room and is easy to store; it folds. I just can't see using something that is big and bulky when space is at a premium. Something pretty that lays flat on the floor is much preferable. Just because a collar is a newer idea doesn't mean it's better. In fact, I remember a time before tree skirts. Back in the 60's Mom would just wrap an old sheet around the trunk of the tree.
