DIY Spring Gnomes
If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen some of the homemade gnomes I have made.
With spring just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put together a collection of little gnomes for spring and Easter.
There are a few different types of DIY gnomes you can make.
These are the most common:
- Sock Gnomes – fill the top of the sock with rice or beans.
- Cone Gnomes
- Sewing Pattern Gnomes
This collection includes a mix of styles that are no-sew.
There are also different sizes, including standing gnomes and cute little guys that are perfect for tiered tray decor.
The best thing about gnome-making is you don’t need to invest in a lot of craft supplies, so it’s a budget-friendly craft.
Common Supplies Needed to Make Spring Gnomes
- Foam Cone
- Faux Fur – you can find the best-priced fur at Hobby Lobby or Joann Fabric and Crafts
- Wood Beads
- Zip Ties- you can find these at the dollar store
- Hot Glue Gun – this cordless one is my favorite!
- Razor Blade, Xacto Knife, or Craft Knife – this knife works perfectly for cutting fur
