Mermaid SVG Cut File Craft Ideas
How fun is this mermaid design? We have 5 little girls in our extended family under 7 who LOVE all things mermaid, so I can’t wait to share a few mermaid projects with them.
Their birthdays are coming up in the next couple of months so I can’t share the finished projects yet.

What Can You Make With The Mermaid SVG Cut File
I’m including both an SVG and a jpg, so if you don’t have a Cricut or other cutting machine, you can also use the mermaid jpg in decoupage crafts, or even to frame and hang in a child’s room.

What is an SVG File?
An SVG file, means scalable vector graphic file. It’s a standard design used for creating two-dimensional images.
How Do You Open SVG Files?
Once you download your SVG cut file, you’ll need to unzip it before you can import it to your computer.
To unzip your SVG file, simply double-click the folder and choose “extract all”.
You will then be asked where you want your files to go. Either add it to your desktop, or create a file specifically for your SVG files.
Be sure to label it mermaid so you can find it easily.
