These wooden bead Christmas ornaments will make a great addition to your Christmas tree.
They are neutral enough to go with any style Christmas tree.
I will admit to having a slight obsession with wooden bead crafts.
But, in my defense, what’s not to love? They are inexpensive, versatile and can be easily painted if you don’t like the natural look.
One of my most popular projects on the blog is this beautiful wood bead wreath.
Last year I made wood bead Christmas stocking tags that you may want to check out too.
Now let’s get to the ornaments.
Supplies needed for wooden bead Christmas ornaments
Step 1.
Start by tying a large knot at the end of the embroidery floss.
You have to make the knot larger than the hole so it doesn’t slip through.
You can also use twine.
But, the smaller beads had a really tiny hole and I found it hard to get the twine through.
Step 2.
Continue to add as many beads as you like. I made a few different styles to mix it up.
Step 3.
Once you have the last bead on, you can hot glue the tassel to the bottom of the ornament.
The tassel just happened to fit into the bead hole, which was just luck. I did add hot glue just to keep it extra secure.
Step 4.
Now just tie off the embroidery floss and make a hoop for hanging. Easy peasy!
Look how cute it is:
You can see a few different styles with extra beads.
I actually think this would work as a key chain too, by adding a key ring.
I hope you enjoyed this easy and fun craft. I’d love it if you’d subscribe to my email.
They only go out once a week, but I have lots of great projects coming up and this way you won’t miss any of the fun.
