Themed Charcuterie Boards

I’m all about creating a super fun holiday-themed charcuterie board for snacking throughout the day for family gatherings.

If you are also a fan of themed charcuterie boards be sure to check out these:

For this Easter charcuterie board, I kept it simple with a colorful mix of fresh fruits, crunchy veggies, tasty crackers, savory meats, and creamy cheeses for a classic meat and cheese tray.

Easter Charcuterie Board Tips

  1. Start with a big platter, plate, or charcuterie board for your Easter spread.
  2. Begin by laying down your biggest treats—think cheese, cookies, and carrots—so they take center stage.
  3. Next, sprinkle in some smaller snacks like fruits, veggies, and meats.
  4. Add seasonal items, such as bunny and baby chick cheese cut-outs to make it all look super fun!

Look for decorative items to include on your board. You can find inexpensive decor at dollar stores, Target Dollar Spot or craft stores.

The adorable bunny spreaders and mini cookie cutters are from Michaels. They were 40% off! I scooped up the festive snack cups at Dollar Tree.

They are just the right size for a cheese board and also work great in a snackle box.

Easter Charcuterie Board Ingredients

One of the many things I love about charcuterie trays is you can tailor them for the holidays, guests favorites or any dietary needs.

Plus, you can gather the ingredients at your local grocery store. You can’t get much easier than that!

Meat and Cheeses

  • Pepperoni
  • Salami
  • Boursin
  • Pepper Jack

How to Make Pepperoni Roses

I love the look of pepperoni roses on a charcuterie board. The easiest way to make them is to layer 5-6 thin slices of pepperoni or salami.

Then fold the meat slices in half and slowly roll them to create the center of the rose.

Place the meat rose in a plastic shot cup and let it open a bit until it creates the look you want. You can also add an extra two slices in the cup to create the rose petals.

Follow this same tutorial to make cheese roses. Just make sure the meat and cheese is sliced thin.

Fruits and Veggies

  • Grapes – red and green add nice color
  • Blackberries
  • Carrots – place them to look like a large carrot with greenery for the stems. I used edible grass.

Create a nest with edible grass to make a focal point and display red grapes. This brings in more texture and dimension.

Dips

  • Ranch
  • Hummus

Use cookie cutters in fun shapes for seasonal boards. The bunny and chicks are so cute!

Crackers

  • Ritz
  • Wheat Thins

You can add sweet treats if you like. My daughter and I were enjoying this for lunch and trying to refrain from candy, but this is totally up to you. M&M’s would fill in the empty areas quite nicely!
